I’ve seen book sales, garage sales and even mini green grocer at some street intersection but today I’ve seen something on a much greater scale. The 1.3km stretch from St-Laurent/Sherbrooke to St-Laurent/Mont-Royal is closed off to traffic for 4 days for a bazaar / arts festival (?). That’s about the distance from Orchard Road MRT to Dhoby Ghaut MRT. Shops have extended into the streets to exhibit their wares, eateries have set up tables outside their shop, tiny stalls are set up as well. I believe there are scheduled performances and events as well. I’d probably check it out again over the weekend and take some photos.
I’m still waiting for my bike key to arrive by mail so it’s been 4 days of walking. I tracked my timing and distance today.
Should check out some bicycle helmets over the weekend.
