When it snows, it snows

Now I understand how people can get their cars buried under snow or to be snowed-in.

Apparently “[a] series of low pressure systems are bringing a widespread wintery mix from Ontario right through to Atlantic Canada”. Started getting sheets of powdery snow from the morning. It stopped before the evening but the snow was already calf-high. We are in the heart of winter with the only consolation being the fact that daylight has started getting longer.

With the orange coloured light on the snow, it actually looked as though the streets were covered with sand!

    • powder snow is a lot like sand, it is dry and doesn’t really clam with each other. the snow on the ground will shift and move with wind or passing vehicles
